Taskade is a shared workspace that brings projects, notes, mind maps, tasks, AI agents and automation together in one place. Its newest version goes a step further: you describe your business process and get a small app from it, such as a client portal or dashboard, with project data, agents and automation connected. What sets it apart from simple task managers is that its agents have memory and access to project data and can carry out work, not merely suggest it.
What is Taskade good for?#
- Team project management: lists, kanban boards, tables, Gantt charts and calendars over the same data.
- Trained AI agents: an agent trained on your files and URLs that answers customer or teammate questions.
- Automating work: for example, when a form arrives, a task is created and an agent writes the first reply.
- No-code app building: a simple portal for tracking orders or clients.
- Brainstorming and planning: mind maps and an initial project outline with AI help.
Strengths and weaknesses#
Strengths:
- Project management, agents and automation in one tool.
- Many views of the same data: list, board, mind map and more.
- Web, mobile and desktop apps plus a browser extension.
Weaknesses:
- It has a lot of features, and for someone who just wants a task list it feels crowded.
- AI is metered in credits, and heavy use quickly burns through the free allowance.
- The interface is in English and right-to-left support is incomplete.
- Generated apps do not replace custom software for complex needs.
Free version and pricing#
You can start free, with a limited amount of agents, automations, live apps and AI credits. Paid plans lift the limits and add team features. Check the official site for current prices.
Language support and availability#
The interface is English only. You can write in other languages and ask agents to reply in them; answer quality depends on the chosen language model, but right-to-left layout is not flawless everywhere. Whether it is reachable from Iran is not something we can state with certainty.
