Brandmark is an AI tool for making logos. You enter your brand name and tagline, choose a few styles and colors, and the tool suggests dozens of logo designs you can tweak. Once you like one, you buy the logo files and, on higher tiers, an identity kit (such as business card and social media designs). What sets it apart from commissioning a designer is that you see many ideas in minutes.

What is Brandmark good for?#

  • A first logo for a new business: an online store owner tries several visual directions before paying for professional design.
  • Ideas for a designer: a designer or client uses the ready designs to clarify taste and make the conversation easier.
  • A side-project logo: for a blog, channel or small startup without a design budget.
  • A simple identity kit: coordinated colors and layouts for cards and social media.
  • Variants of one logo: horizontal, vertical and symbol-only versions for different uses.

Strengths and weaknesses#

Strengths:

  • Generating and previewing costs nothing, with unlimited retries.
  • Reportedly a one-off payment instead of a monthly subscription.
  • Fast and easy for non-designers.

Weaknesses:

  • Designs are often simple and template-like and don't guarantee a distinct brand.
  • Not built for Persian letters.
  • It may produce a logo similar to others; check legal availability before registering a brand.
  • Full and vector files sit behind payment.

Free version and pricing#

Previewing is free, but downloading files and the brand kit must be bought. Payment is usually one-off with several package tiers. Check the official site for current prices.

Language support and access#

Brandmark is made for Latin names and does not render Persian text properly. A practical approach is to take the symbol and colors from Brandmark and place Persian text next to it in another graphics tool. I am not sure about access from Iran; payment needs an international card anyway.

Brandmark alternatives#

  • Looka: an AI logo maker with a fuller brand kit and marketing tools.
  • Namelix: suggests brand names first, then builds a simple logo; good for starting from zero.
  • Canva: logos and other brand designs with Persian fonts and a free plan.
