ICML (International Conference on Machine Learning) is one of the oldest and most respected machine learning research conferences. The 2026 edition is in Seoul (6-11 July 2026, before 8 October), and the official future-meetings page lists South America as the host region for 2027. The city and exact dates have not been announced and we do not guess them; our only estimate is the second half of 2027.
What is this event about?#
ICML is best known for theoretical and applied machine learning papers: learning algorithms, deep learning, optimization, reinforcement learning, generative models, statistics and learning theory. The 2026 edition, per the official site, has a tutorial and expo day, three days of main conference and two days of workshops; the next edition may follow a similar shape, but that is not confirmed.
